Further Experiments

Ms. Palucki had acquired strong extra-ordinary sensitivity through many years of training in energy- and shamanistic techniques (“Shamans were the first neuroscientists” Dr. Alberto Villoldo). Therefor, studies and experiments had been previously undertaken to investigate and advance the understanding of such abilities. Dr. Michael A. Persinger’s Consciousness Research Lab at Laurentian University was one of the world’s most renowned science labs for research in this area.

Experiments have been conducted and data was collected from Ilona’s brain using EEG, measuring biophoton emissions from her body, head and hands, as well as experiments with cancer cells.

The scientist Mandy Scott M.A. wrote:

The knowledge and wisdom of the Shaman-Healer is an integral part of ancient as well as modern Indigenous society. Although the methods and mechanisms by which the healer operates may appear elusive, recent advancements in technology have made it possible to measure the significant fluctuations of subtle energy involved in the healing response observed in the individual receiving treatment (Radin et al, 2008). Moreover, the ability of the healer to become coherent with the one receiving treatment has also been clearly demonstrated (Hunt, 1989; Ventura, Saroka & Persinger, 2014). These discoveries reveal the critical role of intention and awareness, as well as the energetic nature, of the healing process.

Ilona Palucki’s ability to assess the body’s energy to reveal, and then heal, the areas associated with trauma involves remote viewing the inside of the body. This is a remarkable and intuitive application for a technique I have studied extensively in the lab (Scott & Persinger, 2013a, 2013b). In this way the IP Breathing Technique for healing trauma involves a synthesis of spiritual and psychological approaches to healing and it is rooted in simple and pragmatic Indigenous wisdom centered on wholeness, balance, and the interaction of the mind, body, heart and spirit.

Anecdotally, I must say, I have witnessed firsthand the effects of Ilona’s healing abilities, from relatively benign symptoms (e.g. nail biting) to much more complex and severe cases (e.g. healing depression), and the results are robust and conspicuous. I look forward to an opportunity to have Ilona visit the laboratory to complete experiments that will reveal further the interaction of subtle energies in her important work of healing trauma and abuse.
